i have a craftsman 15hp ohv tractor but im not sure what class it would be able to run in i want to do some mods but cant start till i know what class

That motor is legal for Pro Mod

You need to find the cubic inch size or cc size. All motors are different. And pro mod is only one motor size which is 28.4 cubic inches. If it is above the 28.4 cubic in it will fall into the super modified class. It is good you are asking these questions before you build.

the motor says 28n707 so im guessing pro mod can anyone confirm

From the information I have found it is a 28 cubic inch engine OHV. We do not go by hp in this club . As for modifications there is absolutely no mods allowed other than exhaust header and air filter and no governor. If the engine checks out it would be in the pro mod class. But you will have to get that engine looked at by one of our tech stewards for verification just to be sure in any case. Is that fair enough?

just one more question for the pro mod class it says centrifugal clutch only.. im kinda having problems with how to set up the drivetrain.. do most guys run chain or belts in this class if some one could please help me and point me in the right derection brake set up also thanks
