What's the best way to rig up a gas pedal? My tractor only has a brake/clutch pedal on the left, but i want to put a throttle pedal on the right side.

I have found the easiest way to do a foot throttle is to use a piece of 1/4 " thick Aluminum to make the foot pedal , add a door hinge on one end and mount it to the running board. Then use a motorcycle brake cable or throttle cable and attach one end to the foot pedal and the other end to the carb. Be sure to install a short spring between the end of the cable and the carb, that way no matter how hard you step on the pedal, you can't bend anything on the carb. Using a cable makes for easy routing from the pedal to the carb.
