Gary #2 Cone or any one
What do you think about chopping the frame of a supper mod. and lowering the hight of the engine? for example cutting a large hole in the front of the frame so the bottom of the engine sits down inside the tractor insted of being on top in the oringnal position.
Is this mod. allowed?

I was thinking about this mod. because it would allow me to reroute my steering making it simpler and less likely to break. I like keeping things simple. What do you think Rick? Joe ?

OK so thats a NO.
No chopping of the tractors frame to better fit the engine. I'll try something different.
Thanks guys.

how much of the engine has to be covered by the hood? can we just put a sheet of steel over the top and a grill on front and nothing protecting the sides?

Well I just left welding shop there is a Murry lawn tractor with a 48 inch wheel base 12.5 formula marked on the hood. That really opens a can of worm in the Grey area. my tractor is sitting in the shop you want him to cut my wheel base to 44 inch let me know he will start Tuesday.
