It is with great regret that as of Saturday July 17 2010 Lawn Tractor Racing has lost one of it's pioneers Rod Easton to a very lengthy battle with cancer. Rod was a die hard promoter and racer of this sport we love so much. He will always be remembered for his competetiveness, his compassion and his humour he did give himself to this sport completely. As we race today our thoughts will be with him as he makes his first turn on the eternal race track he is now at. Keep the rubber side down Rod.
Sincerly Sam Davison and Family

Thankyou Sam.
Rods funeral will be held on Sunday July 25th at 2 pm at the Bordenwood Cemetery (about 2 kms from our home).
A celebration of his life will be held at our home on Saturday July 31st beginning at 1 pm. Anyone who is interested is welcome to attend at anytime throughout the day. There will be a guest book and plenty of opportunity for "Rod Stories". There will also be music and food and we don't mind if you bring the beverage of your choice...we're sending him off the Easton way.
If everything is good on August 1st, I am planning on taking my nephew and a couple of Rods young cousins to the Lombardy Fair to watch their first lawnmower races. Rod and I never missed Lombardy and I'm hoping to carry on the tradition.
Thankyou to everyone for their well wishes...they are deeply appreciated.
Donna
